I think most everyone has heard about Michelle Madow's debut novel, Remembrance, around the blogosphere. For those who have read it, I'm sure you'll be happy to hear that a short story happening right after the events in Remembrance is going to be released during the holiday season. It's titled Vengeance, but it seems to be missing it's cover. *gasp*
During
this Cover Reveal Blog Hop, each blog will tease you with a piece of
the cover and give you a fun fact about the upcoming book. As a bonus,
Michelle will be answering fun questions about Remembrance. So make sure
to follow the participating blogs during the week so you can take in
all this excitement!
On
the 21st, Michelle will reveal the full cover on her blog and announce a
winner on the 22nd. Yup! That means there's a (huge) giveaway! I'll get to that in a bit. ;)
If you haven't read Remembrance yet, here's what you're missing:

New Hampshire high school junior Lizzie Davenport has been reincarnated from Regency Era, England ... but she doesn't know it yet.
Then Drew Carmichael transfers into Lizzie's school at the beginning of the year, and she feels a connection to him, almost like she knows him. She can't stop thinking about him, but whenever she tries talking with him about the mysteries behind her feelings, he makes it clear that he wants nothing to do with her. Reaching him is even more difficult because she has a boyfriend, Jeremy, who has started to become full of himself after being elected co-captain of the varsity soccer team, and her flirtatious best friend Chelsea starts dating Drew soon after his arrival. So why can't she seem to get him out of her mind?
Even though Lizzie knows she should let go of her fascination with Drew, the pair of them soon find that fighting fate isn't going to be easy.
Bonus question to Michelle about Remembrance: How did you choose the names Lizzie and Drew?
Lizzie parallels Lizzy from Pride and Prejudice, but since the two of them are individual characters (I intended for my Lizzie to be her own person instead of a modernized Elizabeth Bennet), I changed the spelling to make this clear. I also liked that Lizzie is a shortened version of the British name Elizabeth, which is what she went by in her past life. Drew’s name originally came to me from Taylor Swift’s song “Teardrops on my Guitar,” but it also worked because it starts with a D (much like Mr. Darcy!) and is a shortened version of the British name Andrew. It was almost like their names were meant to be!

Vengeance fun fact:
Vengeance is told from Chelsea's point of view.
That's pretty neat! Michelle made her side characters as real and as fun to read about than her protagonist, so it's going to be very interesting to get inside Chelsea's head and see what's going on with her.
Make sure to add Vengeance to your Goodreads To-Read shelf. Also, if you head over to Michelle's blog you can get to know her, and subscribing to her email list will give you access to all her book news (you'll get a nice, shiny reminder when Vengeance is released!).
